What is CryoClear?
CryoClear® is a new cryosurgical device. CryoClear® uses compressed carbon dioxide (CO2) to treat a variety of epidermal (exposed) skin indications.
Why CryoClear?
Cryoclear provides an efficient, painless way to give you tagless, spotless skin without any downtime! This treatment is safe to do anywhere on the body, including your delicate eye area!
It generally takes 21 days to see the final result of your treatment. (Please note: Typically results are achieved in one treatment, however in certain cases multiple treatments may be needed to get desired result.)
How does CryoClear work?
CryoClear® works by spraying Carbon Dioxide onto the skin, which freezes superficially at -79ºC where only the epidermal layers are treated. Because of CryoClear’s shallow but effective depth of freeze, CryoClear® greatly minimizes the risk of blistering, scarring and hypo-pigmentation- usually associated with colder forms of cryotherapy.
CRYOCLEAR IS INDICATED FOR USE ON THE FOLLOWING SKIN CONDITIONS:
SKIN TAGS, AGE SPOTS, SUN SPOTS
Did you know?
How long will it take to see results?
Your treated area will immediately turn darker, and you might experience some tingling or itching for a few hours after treatment. The treatment site will remain dark for about 10 days when your skin will “slough” off the dead tissue. Next, you will see pink healthy tissue which will return to your normal skin color in a few weeks. In some cases, it can take 4 to 6 weeks for normal pigmentation to return.
Is it okay to use CryoClear after a chemical peel?
CryoClear can be used in conjunction with a variety of treatments such as chemical peels, microdermabrasion and enzyme facials. However, after a chemical peel or mechanical exfoliation (like microdermabrasion), we recommend waiting at least 10 days before being treated with CryoClear. Alternately, when receiving a chemical peel, the area to be treated with CryoClear can be occluded in order to perform a peel and a CryoClear treatment on the same day.
Can people with sensitive skin be treated with CryoClear?
Yes. Because of its gentle freeze, CryoClear is safe for people with sensitive skin. If this is an area of concern, we will consult with you to determine the appropriate treatment time for your skin type.
What do I need to do after receiving a treatment?
We recommend that you apply daily a calming and soothing professional moisturizer plus an SPF30-35 mineral sunscreen to the treated area. This will keep the area hydrated and protected from the sun. With CryoClear, you have no lifestyle restrictions — live life as usual!
